3 Then Jesus told them this parable:4 “Suppose one of you has a hundred sheep and loses one of them. Doesn’t he leave the ninety-nine in the open country and go after the lost sheep until he finds it?5 And when he finds it, he joyfully puts it on his shoulders6 and goes home. Then he calls his friends and neighbors together and says, ‘Rejoice with me; I have found my lost sheep.’7 I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent. Luke 15: 3-7 NKJV
No matter how much you have sinned God's love can secure and restore you. His power results in change. Sin is anything you do that goes against the will of God. Sin is why change is necessary. The penalty for living a life full of sin is an afterlife of eternal damnation in hell. Sin earns death but, God offers eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord and savior. God has given us a provision against sin which is Jesus Christ. Even though we are all sinners God loved us so much that he sacrificed his only begotten son so that his death would pay the wages of our sin. You recognize Jesus’ position of authority over you when you believe in your heart and confess with your mouth that Jesus is the son of God who died on the cross for our sins, rose from the dead on the 3rd day, and is now seated at the right hand of the Father. Repentance means changing the direction of your life and the way you live. You intentionally move from a sin-oriented life to a God-oriented life. All of Heaven rejoices when a sinner answers God’s call to repent.

I believe that Jesus is Your Son and that He died on the cross for my sins, He was buried, and He rose from the dead on the 3rd day. I accept this by faith.
